Salts Phosphate Buffered Saline Solution (Salts PBS) is a buffered saline solution composed of a mixture of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and phosphate salts, designed to maintain physiological pH and osmolarity in biological experiments.

This solution is prepared by dissolving precise amounts of sodium chloride (NaCl), potassium chloride (KCl), sodium phosphate dibasic (Na₂HPO₄), and sodium phosphate monobasic (NaH₂PO₄) in distilled water. The pH is adjusted to approximately 7.4 to mimic physiological conditions. The final solution is sterilized, often by autoclaving or filtration.

🔬 Properties
The solution is clear, colorless, and isotonic with excellent buffering capacity near neutral pH. It maintains ionic balance and osmotic pressure similar to that of bodily fluids, ensuring stability for biological samples.
