SS Pickling Solution C is a specialized acid‑based pickling solution designed for use in pharmaceutical and analytical laboratory environments for stainless steel equipment preparation, oxide scale removal, weld discoloration treatment, and restoration of corrosion‑resistant surfaces.

🏭⚗️ Production
Prepared by blending high‑purity inorganic acids with corrosion‑inhibiting agents, wetting agents, and stabilizers under strictly controlled conditions to ensure consistent treatment efficacy and laboratory‑grade performance. The solution is standardized for acid strength, tested for metal removal efficiency and residual corrosion inhibitor content, and supplied in acid‑resistant, tightly sealed containers to prevent evaporation, contamination, or degradation.

🔬 Properties
A clear to slightly tinted, strongly acidic aqueous solution with high reactivity toward stainless steel oxide films, heat tints, and weld scale. Exhibits strong wetting and penetration ability to treat complex stainless steel geometries. Non‑flammable under normal laboratory conditions but highly corrosive and reactive with incompatible materials. Stable when stored in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated location in sealed containers.

🧪 Applications
Used in pharmaceutical‑laboratory settings for cleaning and restoring stainless steel reactors, vessels, piping, fittings and analytical instrumentation that require removal of oxide scale and restoration of passivity. Suitable for immersion, circulation or spray treatment of stainless steel components. After pickling, surfaces are rinsed thoroughly with deionized water and may undergo subsequent passivation to enhance corrosion resistance and ensure suitability for pharmaceutical equipment.

⚠️ Safety
Extremely corrosive and hazardous: can cause severe chemical burns, eye injury, and respiratory irritation. Use only in a fume hood or well‑ventilated area with full protective equipment including acid‑resistant gloves, goggles or face shield, lab coat, and protective apron. Avoid contact with incompatible materials (strong bases, oxidizers, organics) and prevent acid to enter drainage without neutralization. Spills must be neutralized (e.g., with lime or sodium bicarbonate) and disposed of following institutional and environmental safety regulations. Store in a tightly closed acid‑resistant container in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated area, away from bases and oxidizable materials.
