Conductivity Solution 5.0 μS/cm is a pharmacopeial-grade reference solution designed for use in pharmaceutical quality control, ultrapure water monitoring, and analytical testing for the calibration and performance verification of ultra–low-range conductivity meters, cells, and high-sensitivity electrochemical measurement systems.

🏭⚗️ Production
Prepared under strictly controlled GMP- and pharmacopeial-compliant conditions to ensure precise ultra-low conductivity, exceptional purity, and minimal contamination. The 5.0 μS/cm value is achieved using extremely low concentrations of high-purity potassium chloride dissolved in ultrapure, ultra-low-conductivity water, with stringent control of temperature, ionic background, and atmospheric CO₂ absorption. The solution is packaged in chemically resistant, hermetically sealed, and light-protected containers to prevent contamination, evaporation, or conductivity drift. Each batch is validated according to USP <645>, EP 2.2.38, and internationally recognized electrochemical calibration standards to ensure accuracy, uniformity, and reproducibility.

🔬 Properties
A clear, colorless aqueous solution with a defined conductivity of 5.0 μS/cm at 25 °C. Exhibits excellent chemical stability when stored under recommended conditions. Due to its extremely low ionic strength, even minimal contamination or temperature shifts can cause minor conductivity variations; gentle mixing restores homogeneity without altering the assigned value. Temperature-compensated values are traceable to internationally accepted reference conductivity standards.

🧪 Applications
Used in pharmaceutical, analytical, environmental, and industrial laboratories for calibration, validation, and performance verification of ultra–low-range conductivity meters and sensors. Particularly suitable for ultrapure water systems, high-resistivity water testing, dialysis system evaluation, method validation, routine QC analysis, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ). Ideal for research involving trace ionic monitoring, purity assessment, and advanced water purification process control.

⚠️ Safety
Considered low-hazard but should be handled according to standard laboratory safety practices. Avoid ingestion, inhalation of aerosols, and direct contact with skin and eyes. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and a lab coat. Store in tightly sealed, light-protected containers in a cool, dry environment to maintain purity and prevent changes in conductivity. Dispose of according to pharmaceutical laboratory waste regulations and environmental safety guidelines.
